Gallery8 NYC
was founded in 2017 by Argentine-born artist and curator Mariano Cinat. Since its inception, the gallery has grown into an internationally active platform for emerging and established artists, with a presence at some of the world’s most prestigious art fairs and cultural institutions.
Over nearly a decade, Gallery8 NYC has organized exhibitions and art fair presentations across four continents — including participations at the Venice Biennale (2022), VOLTA Art Fair New York (2024), Art Le Carrousel du Louvre in Paris (2013, 2023, 2024), World Art Dubai (2024; 2026 edition postponed to November), ArteBA in Buenos Aires, and Art Basel Miami satellite fairs. The gallery’s mission is to create meaningful exhibition opportunities for artists who might not otherwise have access to international platforms, and to foster long-term relationships between artists, collectors, and cultural institutions.
Gallery8 NYC represents and collaborates with artists from around the world, selected through a curatorial process that values quality, originality, and artistic integrity. The gallery supports diverse practices — from painting and sculpture to installation and works on paper — and works closely with each artist to develop their presence in the international art market.

These arenas recall nightmarish tableaus of El Greco, yet with a subtlety and ambiguity more indicative of the mystery of cathedrals.”— Douglas Singleton, Art Critic, New YorkSingleton’s full critical statement describes Cinat’s use of contrast in shadow and light as producing “tales suggestive of the subconscious,” comparing the atmospheric quality of his paintings to the works of El Greco while noting a distinctive subtlety that is entirely Cinat’s own.Press Releases & Exhibition CoverageArt for a Cause: Charity Weekend at the Carrousel du Louvre Supports Ukrainian ChildrenGallery8 NYC & BIG.World — November 2024 — Paris, FranceGallery8 NYC, led by artist and curator Mariano Cinat, joined forces with the Business Incubator Group World and collaborators from Mexico and the United States to organize a charity event at the 34th edition of the Art Shopping fair at the Carrousel du Louvre, Paris, October 18–20, 2024.
